The project aims to digitalize the onboarding procedure for credit cards.

The goal is to speed up turnaround time and enhance the present credit approval procedure.

Background

In December 2019, I started working for IBM and was assigned to my first project on BPI. I was one of the four designers who worked on the digitalization of unsecured loan and credit card applications. I spent more than a year on the team.

As a UI/UX designer, my major duty is to;

To do secondary research (or desk research) and competitive UX analysis
Design everything from low-fidelity to high-fidelity (responsive web design)
Conducting Guerilla and remote usability testing
Collaborate with developers and designers to make user-friendly applications.
The team initiated and created the design system in Invision DSM.
Present the result of the research and usability test with stakeholders, hand-over designs to developer and do design audit and QA.

Process

We strive to embrace the key phases of Design thinking in an agile environment. IBM call this model the Loop: a continuous cycle of observing, reflecting, and making.
