Background

I was hired by BP in November 2021 as one of the five UX designers working on this project, more than seven months after the redesign process began.

I support design in all facets of the business as a UX designer. I worked closely with a variety of product owners, engineers, and designers.

My main responsibility as a UX Designer

  • Meeting with product owners to understand the initial requirement and identify areas that require usability testing, research, or design.
  • Conducting user testing and research
  • Creating task flows, wireframes and prototypes based on user needs.
  • Working with designers and developers to create software that is simple to use.
  • Present the result of the research and usability test with stakeholders, hand-over designs to developer and do design audit and QA.

Process

We strive to embrace the key phases of Design thinking in an agile environment. IBM call this model the Loop: a continuous cycle of observing, reflecting, and making.
